How to get to the Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa?

I am planning a trip to Santa Rosa to see the Schulz Museum. I will be taking an Amtrak bus to get to the SRC station which is a couple miles south of where I plan to stay, a Motel 6 a little way northeast of the museum. Is there any kind of public transportation I can use to easily get from the bus station to the Motel 6 then possibly from the motel to the museum other than calling a cab?

1. From the website: At the Santa Rosa Transit Mall, take the Route 17 bus to the Coddingtown Mall. The Museum is a short walk north on Range to West Steele Lane. Head west on West Steele Lane and follow the signs. Or transfer to the #11 bus, which has a stop in front of the Ice Arena.
