Topic suggestions for an informative speech on global awareness?

I have to give a 5-7 minute informative speech on a topic either dealing with global awareness or culture, and my brain is just freezing up. I know at least five other people in my class will be covering global warming, so that's out. World hunger is another popular one too, so that's out as well. Any suggestions?

1. It would be cool for you to do something on Haiti. It's the only 4th world country in the world (which means it's really really poor). Maybe like make people aware of what goes on there and how poor they are and ways to help like donating to organizations and stuff!
