Does anyone in the Santa Rosa, Ca area wish to adopt one of my two cats that I must get a new home?

I have a black and white female, her name is "Tux" and she is a sweetie, has always been a indoors cat. I then have a 9 month old "Duma" who is male, and a beautiful black color, and they both have beautiful green eyes. I live in a complex where at first there was no problem having my two kittys, but now with new management I will not beable to keep them, and I am a single mom on Section 8 and cannot afford to lose my housing. They both are very well mannered and trained, and love children. Please if you can take one or both of these beautiful animals in, Please give me a call at 707-575-4029 I am in santa rosa. My name is Tina

  1. Tina I am so sorry to hear about your situation. Contact your local Petco or Centinela Pet. They should be able to help you find a foster group which will help you. Please, do not take them to the shelter........most likely they will not find a home and they will be put down.
  2. Hi Tina...because everyone here is located from all over the world consider posting an ad through a free online service such as Petfinder http://www.petfinder.com or your local Bay area Craigslist http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pet/ . Be sure to ask for a small adoption fee (e.g. $15) to disuade people who are looking for a free pet to sell to research labs, use for dog bait training, snake food or worse mistreatment. Ask prospective adopters that you would like to conduct a home inspection monthly for 3 months to ensure the well-being of the cats as well. You can negotiate the adoption fee if you feel you have found a good home and refund the money after a few months. People scour Craigslist every minute daily so you may find someone pretty quickly.
