Is a degree in Electronic Commerce Worth It? I am a high school senior trying to decide my major. Im really into computers and digital animation, and recently have come to think I would enjoy advertising. Do you think this would be a good thing to consider for a degree? (Any other ideas on majors would be nice too)
How would you feel if the electronic commerce was taxed? I need some more ideas for my econ project. Electronic commerce consists of the buying and selling of products or services over electronic systems such as the Internet. There are two fairly good arguments for each side, whether the electronic commerce should be taxed or not. Since the e-commerce is not taxed there is not much discouragement to trade things over the internet if there was a taxed commerce. Thus some may say that because of the Internet tax freedom act information expanded exponentially. Bush said, the US economy is in an economical downturn. By taxing e-commerce, the government will receive more funding in which the government may spend more money for the internet. It is said that for each dollar the government puts in, the amount gets multiplied by a few folds. Thus taxing internet commerce would bring the US out of a recession. I feel that the e-commerce is better left untaxed but I am wondering if there are more arguments for taxing e-commerce
An electronic commerce offer? I was offered to work for an electronic commerce. But all my friends think it might be a scam, so they can take my money away. Yesterday I went to this event at a fancy hotel where they lots of speakers. Basically they help you start your own business, its not a job, but you are your own boss. I don't know how that works. But I have to work 6-10 hours a week. They told me of two phases, phase 1 where you work 8-10 hours a work for 6-12 months you would make 50k per year. And phase two where it takes 2-5 years. Help, I don't uderstand all this.
